Vergangenen Sommer ist die Operette "Die Perlen der Cleopatra" von Oscar Straus auf CD erschienen. Die festliche Präsentation war in Bad Ischl am 9. Juli 2004 in anwesenheit seiner Enkelin Frau Inge Prebil-Straus.

"Die Perlen" sind beim Label CPO erschienen (777022-2). Zwei Super Audio CD's.
Morenike Fadayomi als Cleopatra, und Herbert Mogg dirigierte Orchester und Chor des Lehár Festivals Bad Ischl.

Auserdem wurde an diesem Abend das Konzert für Klavier und Orcherster in g-moll gespielt, das Oscar Straus 1898 komponiert hat. Es spielte das "Bruckner Orchester Linz", am Klavier Florian Krumpöck.
